Claudio Cuccovillo founded Genghis, the crypto-native gift-card marketplace. He started the company after finding, in 2021, that savings held in crypto were hard to spend on everyday purchases — the gap this report sets out to measure. He is based in London and wrote the report's foreword and narrative chapters.
