The Question That Started Everything
In 2023, while building Kryptomon — a Web3 gaming company we scaled to a $50M valuation — we kept running into the same wall.
We had crypto. Real crypto. And we couldn't spend it on a PlayStation 5.
Not easily, anyway. Not without converting to fiat, dealing with banks, passing KYC checks, waiting days, losing value to fees. For an industry worth more than a trillion dollars, the infrastructure for actually using that value in everyday life was essentially nonexistent.
We asked ourselves a simple question: if Web1 gave us eBay and Web2 gave us Amazon, what does Web3's native commerce platform look like?
Genghis is the answer we built.

Why No-KYC Is Not a Feature. It's a Belief.
Most crypto platforms treat privacy as an afterthought — a compliance problem to solve, not a value to protect.
We think differently. Crypto was built on the premise of financial freedom: the ability to hold, move, and use value without asking permission from governments, banks, or intermediaries. Every unnecessary friction point — every KYC form, every bank approval, every fee — is a small erosion of that freedom.
